Ryde Chorus

Welcome to the website of The Ryde Chorus. We are a charitable-status choir of about 50 - 60 voices (SATB) performing 3 concerts a year. We have been performing a wide variety concerts of choral pieces of both secular and religious content for about 15 years all over the Isle of Wight. Our performances are generally well attended with many 'regulars' indicating a loyal following of music lovers on the Island.


Our next performance is the 2008 Spring Concert - a perennial favourite that has become synonymous with the start of Summer on the Island. We are again teaming up with The Fletching Singers, promising to make this a memorable event.

This concert is a must for both discerning and casual lovers of good choral music - works by:
  • Johannes Brahms [his Requiem],
  • Claudio Monteverdi [Beatus Vir] and
  • Antonio Vivaldi [Nulla in Mundo Pax Sincera].
